MODA
MODA · Platform conduct

Platform rules.

The conduct standards every brand, creator, and team member is expected to operate by inside MODA — and the enforcement framework MODA uses when those standards are crossed.

Effective · May 2026

MODA is a premium production environment. The rules below exist to keep the platform that way for the people doing the work.

Section 01

Content and IP integrity

Content uploaded to MODA is the creator's property until rights transfer activates. Brands and brand team members are expected to treat that content accordingly. Specifically, the following are prohibited:

  • 01Unauthorized use of submitted content prior to payment release.
  • 02IP theft — claiming ownership of, or commercializing, work you do not have a license to.
  • 03Republication of pre-release submissions on any external channel.
  • 04Screen recording, screen capture, or off-platform copying of submissions for usage purposes.
  • 05Stripping, removing, or obscuring watermarks present on review-state media.
Section 02

Payment integrity

MODA's payment infrastructure is the load-bearing protection for creators. Circumventing it undermines that protection for everyone on the platform. The following are prohibited:

  • 01Off-platform payment circumvention — soliciting or accepting payment for MODA-originated work outside the workroom.
  • 02Coercing a creator into starting work before the workroom is funded.
  • 03Coercing a creator into accepting payment lower than the agreed campaign payout.
  • 04Falsifying funding confirmations, release confirmations, or payout records.
  • 05Chargeback abuse against released, approved deliverables.
Section 03

Identity and representation

Trust on MODA depends on accurate identity and accurate representation of work. The following are prohibited:

  • 01Impersonating another person, brand, agency, or MODA team member.
  • 02Operating an account on behalf of an undisclosed third party with intent to deceive.
  • 03Misrepresenting a brand's authority to commission work.
  • 04Posting stolen portfolios — presenting another creator's work as your own.
  • 05Fake creator metrics — fabricated audience, fabricated engagement, fabricated geography.
  • 06Submission ghosting — submitting work created by an undisclosed party as your own.
Section 04

Campaign integrity

Campaigns posted on MODA must reflect real intent and real scope. The following are prohibited:

  • 01Fraudulent campaigns — posting briefs without intent to fund or deliver.
  • 02Bait briefs — using a brief to harvest creator concepts without intent to hire.
  • 03Bait-and-switch terms — modifying scope, deliverables, or payout after hire without creator agreement.
  • 04Fake reviews, fake approvals, or fake completion records intended to manipulate platform reputation.
Section 05

Conduct and safety

MODA expects professional, premium conduct from every account. The following are prohibited:

  • 01Harassment, intimidation, or threats directed at any creator, brand, or MODA team member.
  • 02Discriminatory conduct or content targeting protected groups.
  • 03Sexual misconduct, including coercion, unsolicited explicit content, or quid-pro-quo arrangements.
  • 04Doxxing — publishing or threatening to publish another person's private information.
  • 05Use of MODA to facilitate activity that is unlawful in the jurisdictions of the parties involved.
Section 06

Enforcement framework

MODA's trust and moderation team reviews every reported and system-flagged violation. Enforcement is calibrated to the severity, pattern, and impact of the conduct, and may include any of the following:

  • 01Warning — formal record of the issue with guidance on expected conduct.
  • 02Account limitation — restrictions on posting jobs, applying to jobs, uploading content, or accessing review surfaces.
  • 03Payout freeze — temporary hold on outbound creator payouts pending investigation, with full audit trail.
  • 04Suspension — account access paused while a case is open.
  • 05Ban — permanent loss of platform access for the offending account and any operators behind it.
  • 06Legal escalation — referral to outside counsel and, where appropriate, civil or criminal authorities.

Enforcement actions are recorded in MODA's internal trust ledger. Affected accounts are notified through their platform inbox, and impacted counterparties are informed only to the degree needed to protect their own work, payments, or campaigns.

Section 07

Reporting a violation

If you believe a creator, brand, or workroom is operating outside these rules, contact MODA support from inside your workroom or dashboard. Reports are reviewed by the trust and moderation team and treated as confidential to the extent possible while the case is investigated.

If something feels wrong on MODA, tell us. The platform is built so you do not have to handle it alone.

Updates

Changes to these rules

MODA may update these rules to reflect new platform capabilities, new categories of misuse, or regulatory changes. Material changes will be announced inside the platform with reasonable advance notice, and the effective date above will reflect the most recent revision.
